Reuben is a great fishing guide. We are novice fiaherwoman and fisherman at best. Reuben was very patient with us and very helpful during the trip. We were on the water between 6:30 and 6:45 A.M., ~30 minutes before sunrise. We weren’t overly excited about the early start but it was awesome seeing the sunrise over South Padre. We will definitely hire Reuben again on our next trip to South Padre.

Captain Ruben text me a few days before our scheduled fishing trip with weather updates, confirming our trip, and answering any questions I may have had at that time. I appreciated the personalized attention for my family. Captain Ruben made sure we caught fish and moved to different spots to help with that. He’s a great conversationalist talking about the bay and giving us overall great information. Our family enjoyed our experience and look forward to our next fishing adventure.

Captain Garcia was an awesome fisherman guide and really made this experience unforgettable for me and my family! He not only knows the waters but knows his fish. We all caught speckled trought and some catfish. He provides the bait and guts your catch and he even recommended a really good restaurant that cooked our catch amazingly! You are in good hands with Captain Garcia’s 20 plus experience of being a fisherman and I highly recommend him. He is also very nice and well mannered. We will definitely book him again in the future!

Thank you, Captain Ruben, for such a successful and memorable outing. We were a group of 6 and the boat easily accommodated us all. Captain Ruben was extremely hard working, knowledgeable and attentive, gave detailed insight and guidance as needed. Each of us in the group caught multiple fish and we definitely ate well that night. He was glad to filet the keepers for us. We truly had the best time and are excited for the opportunity to come back again!

Fishing with Captain Ruben Garcia was a great experience from start to finish. He was ready to go right on time at 6:30am, and his communication leading up to the trip was clear and professional. Out on the water, he was friendly, easy to talk to, and made the morning enjoyable for both me and my daughter. We had some solid action - reeling in several spotted trout, including one that measured 19.5 inches. The highlight was a strong 31-inch redfish. Even though we also ended up with a hardhead, it was a fun and smooth trip with great company and good fishing.

Absolutely phenomenal experience with Reel Off Charters and Captain Ruben Garcia! As a novice angler, I was a bit nervous, but Captain Ruben's patience and expertise made me feel right at home on the water. Hands down the best fishing charter experience I've ever had! Captain Ruben is not only a skilled angler but also an incredible guide who goes above and beyond to ensure everyone on board has a fantastic time. From the moment we set foot on the boat, his passion for fishing and knowledge of the area were evident.
